KILLER SERIES

New por 2012 modeled after Kookkiller, a gH standard for almost seven years now, seeming to reach its performance potential through slight dimension mods and rocker adjustments. Its a little brother to gH modern classic SLIVER. Featuring similar templates and water flow theory,
differing in rail line and overall dimensions. Its a gateway from our longboard series to the mid length rage. ..
ELEMENTS INCLUDE: small square tail, high to low edged rail line, and key length of 9'0 - 9'2. The SLIVER
features knifed low rail through out, lower overall rocker, and wider dimension more suited for key length 9'5- 9'7. 

KILLER VS SLIVER:
Killer is perfect for beach breaks, or flatter faced take offs too sloped out for pintails like JUNGLE SERIES. All around California longboard with performance elements, and only 9' In length means you will never feel like you should have had a shortboard or longboard instead. For those crowded days calling swell but lacking power, when its a struggle for mid lengths, and opened up enough you dont want to limit yourself with a full sized longboard. Furthermore, the SLIVER's foil is tricky and built for trim speed. Its floatation is given by its length and dims. Where the Killer features fuller thickness forward due to its shorter narrower dimensions. Currently we are out of Killer stock, but taking orders, and prototypes like featured above, should wash up under are used selection once I have time too build myself a replacement. THE JUNGLE SERIES IS COMPLETE! The
SURFAR trip proved its ability in excellent surf,
and since new years has been applied and tried in average to good CA surf too. In Africa, (see hash!)
I basically was between the jungle Rpg on most conditions, Surfar! custom PISTOLA on firing session,
and standard SLIVER on the small perfect days.
But CA is a different venture. The SLIVER or KILLER makes more sense for small or fun days, depending on whether I want to trim a longboard (SLIVER), or transitional lines (9'0 KILLER)
THE JUNGLE RPG and 711 ACID  start to activate around chest high, once you have enough wave face to go up and down, (depends on your build and style)
But the newly released JUNGLE BOAT is derived from the first JUNGLE BOARD combining acid/rpg
rounded pin with basic longboard dims. (9'5 x 22.25) giving it feel/function of JUNGLE series for longboard conditions.

Hopefully no one purchases it, I am going to let it cure for a couple days and then surf it unless
someone grabs it. The 1" balsa stringer will effect the overall flex/bouncy ratio. Normal 711 ACID
($700 clear factory direct price) comes cedar stringer  which has agile flex for quickly changing lines.
Where when ever I have had a 1"+ balsa stringer find added bouncy and linear drive due to a different grain characteristic, yet still flexible unlike bass stringer. Typically 7'11 ACID comes with 1"balsa custom ordered only. If she's what you like, contact robin@gatoheroi.com before I get her wet.
